A frightening encounter with Christ
October 1, 2013

“When I stand up to preach the gospel, I often preach to people who have no idea Who God Is. Because they worship idols – very terrible idols. They spread the table for their gods…and I tell them that the Christian God does it the other way around. He spreads His table for His children.” -fromFather of Lights”

Witch doctors, gang leaders, demoniacs, Hindu gurus, and those in need of healing are no match for the sweet whisper of the Holy Spirit when He meets them we’re they’re at. This documentary challenged me so dramatically – and inspired such worship – that I watched it three times, including twice in one day.

But it is more than just a wonderful experience – “Father of Lights” prompts one to ask, “What is my role in this, God? Others are walking in this tremendous love and anointing. I want it, too.”

Father of Lights is available at most Christian retail outlets and online. If you haven’t seen it, please check out the trailer. This one is not to be missed.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows” (James 1:17 – NIV).
