Great is Thy Faithfulness, Mighty One of Israel!

“”Now when Jesus heard [of the Centurion’s faith], he marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. I say to you that many will come from East and West and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of heaven but the sons of the Kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness in the place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 8:10-11)

Do you sense a check in your spirit when you go turn on the news? Perhaps the Holy Spirit is warning you away from peering at a distorted and superficial picture of the world, and calling you instead to be involved in what He is birthing right now in the earth behind the scenes.

As I have been praying over the last several days, I’ve been stirred to intercede for brothers and sisters in the church here in American and around the world to rise up to a new, thrilling level of real FAITH in the Great I Am, to see Him do unexpected and miraculous deeds that none of us could foresee.  Some Christians have faith for salvation, but lack the deep, unwavering conviction in His goodness and His might. The ability of God to act in impossible situations and in the lives of those who’ve waited on him for years is the kind of faith that pleases Him.

An El Alamein Moment

This is a pivotal point in history. I believe we are living in an El Alamein moment, in which the future of world events hangs on a battle. But the battle is being fought in the spirit realm by men and women of faith.

If you remember history, in October 1942, German Commander Erwin Rommel’s Afrika Korps had swept the British Army roughly 700 miles eastward, from Tripoli in Libya as far as the ridge of El Alamein, Egypt. Here the war-weary and demoralized British forces dug in for one final stand. If El Alamein should fall, the way would be open for the Axis powers to gain control of Egypt, to cut the Suez Canal, and to move into Palestine. There, the Jews would be subjected to the same extermination they’d experienced everywhere the National Socialists had taken over Europe. Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was geared to assist in aggression against the Jews and was already engaged in anti-Semitic rhetoric.(1)

Reading the accounts of Rees Howells and Derek Prince, Welsh and British respectively, and men of profound faith, one learns of how the Lord gave them prayer burdens for the Holy Land and for the British military leadership specifically. Likewise, a national day of prayer was called in Great Britain; in the marketplace, in private homes, and on bases, men and women all over the country paused to pray.

What followed in El Alamein was nothing short of a miracle. Low morale had plagued the units, caused by poor leadership, tens of thousands of captured soldiers, and a series of defeats. Then Churchill appointed new military command, a direct answer to the plea of Derek Prince, “Oh Lord, give us leaders such that it would be to your glory to give us the victory through them.” (2)

General Bernard Law Montgomery was a God-fearing man, son of an Anglican bishop, and highly disciplined. Not to be hurried nor pressured even by Churchill in his strategies, Montgomery built up and instilled in his men the confidence that the prior experiences had depleted. Montgomery at one point reportedly came out and assembled his officers and men and said this: ‘Let us ask the Lord, mighty in battle, to give us the victory.”

The outcome was such that on November 4, 1942, Nazi commander Rommel was forced to withdraw his troops and subsequently all aspirations for control of North Africa and the Holy Land. This was the first major allied victory, and a turning point in World War Two.

The Fate of the Free World

The future of the free world hinges on prayer. The battle in the States right now is between Constitutionalism (liberty) and Marxism (slavery). In the scales hangs justice and fraud. Should we be surprised that those who cheer the right to kill babies might also be capable of theft? The enemy has laid out his cards, and Christians who still don’t see it are likely tuned into a pro-Marxist, pro-pedophile, pro-choice, and pro-globalist news media. Evangelical pastors mostly agree on the harmful effects of pornography, but don’t take to task the destructive nature of flooding our living rooms with the diabolical voice of the news networks. These influences are at war with the Holy Spirit’s voice, and result in double-mindedness and instability (James 1:8).

This hour’s critical battle decides whether the gospel and Christianity flourish or the evil system of socialism closes in to suffocate the church. The Left has made it abundantly clear in this nation their personal war on Christianity. Their bigotry toward the Jews has gone unchallenged by so-called Justice Warriors. On a global scale, elite powers from all over the world have already laid out a plan for what they call “The Great Reset” and a New World Order, using covid and climate change as catalysts for dominion over the western world. Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Angela Merkel, Greta Thunberg, and other global voices have openly called Covid “a unique opportunity” and have candidly laid out their proposal to meet in Davos in January 2021 (banking on a predetermined and compliant Biden) to move forward with their collective plot.

When persons in positions of power threaten Christians and persecute Jews, it is folly not to take their remarks seriously, nor to wonder for whom they work.

We will be judged for every idle word (Matt. 12:36) and for the deeds done while in the body (2 Cor. 5:10) — this includes how we vote and how we pray – or don’t pray — for our government leaders.

Christ is calling His church to rise up in a new level of high octane faith to see the hand of God move in our nation and in the free world, but also in the lives of those around us for whom we have prayed, some perhaps for decades. Hearts are softening and the Spirit of Truth is removing the veil for many. We are witnessing this at a level I’ve not personally seen before.

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
